The completely overhauled Tampa Criterium and the inaugural edition of the Clearwater Classic Criterium, are all part of Florida’s Sunshine Grand Prix and will kick off the fast-paced USA CRITS Championship Series!
Saturday March 18th – Downtown Tampa
The race course is lightning fast, flat and consists of a generous helping of Tampa’s own ‘cobbles’. Riders will weave their way through crowded streets, and spectators will get close enough to hear the gear changes and feel the draft of the racing madness.
Sunday March 19th – Pinellas Park
This 2 miles circuit course offers wide open and sweeping turns around a lake and park setting. It is racer’s favorite!
Friday March 25th – Downtown St. Pete
The return of the old Bayfront Crit course will delight racers and spectators with its fast turns around Al Lang Stadium. St. Pete’s downtown waterfront will be an spectacular place to watch the best in the country race for glory!
Saturday March 26th – Downtown Clearwater
This gorgeous wide open but grueling course will test even the fittest racers. Running along the scenic Clearwater Harbor going up Cleveland hill and staged on the scenic Coachman Park, this final leg of the omnium competition will see all champions earn their Sunshine crowns.
