The FBRA board of directors voted to award this year’s Florida State Cyclocross Championship race to promoters Josh and Kaleigh Thornton of Wicked Awesome Racing. The race will take place on the weekend of December 17th and 18th, with the State Championship held during Saturday’s race. The Championship venue will be at “The Quarry”, the old golf course complex located in the City of Brooksville. The course will have a great mixture of elevation changes as well as paved and unpaved sections – a CX heaven! Josh and Kaleigh are also working with the City of Brooksville on a Toys for Tots event that supports local underprivileged families.
